Dr. Markus Friebe studied electrical engineering from 1998 till 2002 at the Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg. From 2002 till 2007 he was scientific research assistant in Multimedia Communications and Signal Processing Department at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg. He was Engineering Product Leader at Lear Corporation for Automotive Audio Amplifier and Surround View Products from 2007 – 2012. In 2013 he moved to Continental as Leading Technical Expert for Surround View Products. He was Head for ADAS Surround View Visualization functions from 2016 – 2021 and since 2022 he is Business Owner for Human Vision Products in Business Area Autonomous Mobility within Continental.
