Christopher Brockmeier [M] (M.Sc., B.Sc.) [“Manager Research Area Vehicle Concepts & HMI”] studied mechanical engineering and business administration at RWTH Aachen University as well as Econometrics at Harvard College in Boston. In the scope of the European funded epsilon project he obtained a Master of Science degree in 2016, developing and evaluating a small urban electric passenger vehicle concept at RWTH Aachen University. Since 2017, Mr. Brockmeier is employed as research scientist and doctoral candidate at the Institute for Automotive Engineering (IKA) of RWTH Aachen University. After leading multiple industry research projects, he took over the role of team manager “HMI concepts” in 2018. Since 2019, he is also responsible for full vehicle research projects and is, under the guidance of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lutz Eckstein, leading the research areas HMI & Vehicle concepts at IKA RWTH Aachen University.
