Traditional electronics hardware advances have added incredible levels of functionality to today’s cars. Recent advances in printed electronics offer a transformational change to displays and controls through a re-imagined and simplified manufacturing & assembly process. The creation of functional electronics directly onto interior surfaces has a multitude of advantages, from the reduction of the OEM assembly process as well as significant reductions in total system weight and carbon footprint, all whilst allowing new design freedoms for true 3D electronics.
