From comfort to communication, autonomy to AI, modern vehicles are equipped with an ever-expanding array of features for users. However, this increasing complexity can result in in-cabin distractions for drivers, posing significant safety concerns. How can developers, suppliers, and integrators effectively tackle this challenge? This presentation will explore JLR’s solution: Attention Management, discussing the history and limitations of existing guidelines, such as those from NHTSA, and explaining the core principles of Attention Management as a strategy for addressing driver distraction.

You will learn how:

  • Existing guidelines, like those from NHTSA, have limitations in addressing this issue
