Urs is the Site R&D Manager working on new in-cabin sensing functions at gestigon GmbH, part of Valeo, a leading Tier 1 supplier for the automotive industry. Urs is part of the Valeo family for 20 years and has helped to bring many driving assistance and in-cabin sensing systems into the market. He's interested in sensor design, sensor fusion, and function development.

We develop software for natural user interfaces based on gesture recognition with a special focus on embedded systems, e.g. casual control in the area of the middle console or steering wheel as well as body tracking for a cocoon solution etc. gestigon is a company of the Valeo group.
