The 7th edition of the award-winning Car HMI Europe was once again a great success! More than 200 of the leading UX, UI and HMI experts gathered in Belin in July to network, exchange knowledge and shape the future of the autonomous driving. Over 3 jam-packed days, attendees saw innovative case studies, networking sessions, a start-up innovation lab, as well as an interactive Design Thinking Workshop, an Icebreaker and best practices and much, much more!
With keynotes on Groupe PSA’s UX & brand strategy in global HMI product development, how to create future interiors, current trends in automotive HMI & display controls or Emotion.AI as the emotional life autonomous vehicles, one thing became clear: Next Generation UX + HMIs have a lot in store.
Another highlight was the Car HMI Europe Award Ceremony. The winner being Volvo Construction Equipment for their Active Control in the category ‘Most user-friendly HMI feature’. Valeo and their Voyage XR got voted first place as ‘Most innovative HMI feature’. With a double-win this year, Volvo Construction Equipment and their Volvo Active Control took the community choice award home. All three categories were recognized by our international user experience & UI community via live voting.
