In the IoT, our products and solutions enable new functions and services. Sensors record mostly analog environmental information and transform it into digital data; microcontrollers process this data and generate control signals; memories support the microcontrollers in storing data and program codes; actuators like power semiconductors convert the control signals into actions; security solutions protect the integrity of devices and data; and connectivity components transfer this data to the digital world.
Infineon’s customers are looking to develop new business and service models, enhance system performance and reliability, and accelerate their time-to-market. To achieve this, they need a semiconductor partner that can combine technology leadership with a broad system understanding and core capabilities spanning sensing, embedded control solutions for different applications, power efficiency, security, and connectivity.
