The interior and the corresponding user experience are becoming more and more important. Automated driving is the game changer for the next generation of vehicles. Now drive time becomes free time supported by an emotional and orchestrated overall experience for all senses and a new dimension of space in the interior. In addition, we need a comprehensive and highly networked range of digital functions for the interior of the future.
Mr Heimberger and Mr Rohlfs are presenting the process, starting from the derivation of customer needs and future trends to the design of a holistic customer experience, via a multimodal HMI concept for comprehensive digital functions, to the concept validation in VR.
